On the 26th of January, I will be taking the startline of Arc of Attrition. This is said to be the toughest 100-mile footrace in the UK. This event takes you along the stunning and dramatic Cornish Coast path.

It will be a very long, dark night in challenging and gruelling winter conditions.

It would mean a great deal to me if I could raise enough money to purchase a new outdoor, wooden play house for the incredible children that I support and care for at Frank Wise special educational needs school. I know that it will fill me with extra determination to achieve my goal when the going gets tough.

This race is going to push me to my absolute limits, and I have been working incredibly hard to ensure I can achieve my goal. My training has been starting at 5 am most days to ensure I'm ready come January, and I'm currently in the sweet spot between nervous and excited. I have 36 hours to reach the finish line of this incredible, but brutal event.

It's going to be an adventure!
