I’m proud to be supporting Phyllis Tuckwell by hosting a Bake & Brew event this October. I’ll be putting the kettle on, pouring tea or coffee, and sharing delicious cake with others during our coffee morning and cake sale. All of this is to raise money for Hospice Care.

Thank you for supporting me in my efforts to help Phyllis Tuckwell raise the vital funds needed to support patients, their families, and carers. Phyllis Tuckwell has to raise over £25,000 every single day to offer their services free of charge. This is why fundraising events like Bake & Brew are so important; the Government/NHS only covers 25% of their costs.

I was referred to Phyllis Tuckwell when I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last October. The activities and events they have invited me to have been wonderful places for connection and support. That little but vital help from their team at the Beacon Centre has played a significant role in helping me cope with a terminal diagnosis and has supported me in regaining confidence in my health while I still can.
