Story
I’m raising money for St Joseph’s Hospice in Liverpool in memory of my beloved brother Mark, who we lost in 2022 at the age of just 47 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
During the most difficult time of our lives, the hospice team supported our family with incredible compassion, kindness and dignity. Their care allowed Mark to remain at home, where he felt most comfortable, and gave us the precious gift of being able to nurse him ourselves and spend his final days together as a family.
Those moments meant everything to us, and we will be forever grateful for the support, reassurance and humanity the hospice team provided. They not only cared for Mark, but also for all of us who loved him.
St Joseph’s Hospice relies heavily on donations to continue providing specialist palliative care and support to patients and families when they need it most. By donating, you are helping ensure that other families can receive the same care, comfort and compassion that meant so much to ours.
Thank you so much for any contribution you’re able to make, and for helping us honour Mark’s memory in a way that reflects the kindness he was shown.
