Yes I finally decided to take on the challenge and I am in training!! On the 27th April 2025 I will be taking on the iconic TCS London Marathon in support of Hope for Children and Chance for Childhood.

Chance for Childhood exists to ensure children across east and west Africa have a safe and happy childhood. They ensure that every child has access to a quality education and a safe space to thrive.

They do this by working with local partners, parents and communities to change stigma surrounding disability and provide teacher training to ensure every child is taught in the way they can best learn.

Having worked in education for the whole of my career I know how important it is for children to be given the best possible start in life.

Please give what you can to help me smash my £2000! All the money raised will go to the incredible Chance for Childhood and Hope for Children. Every penny is going to help motivate me to keep going with my training - especially on the cold, dark and rainy days which there seems to have been a lot of recently!
