Story
Parkinson’s Disease is something that I see on an almost daily basis whilst at work. I see how it affects people’s daily lives, their relationships with loved ones and ultimately their overall health and wellbeing. Until last year, I assumed this was something that would only affect other people. As many of you know, in the last 12 months someone in my family has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and the realisation of how effects daily life has hit a lot closer to home.
I have decided to run The Great West Run this year not only to prove to myself that I can do hard things but also to raise money for a charity looking to cure Parkinson’s Disease for future generations. I know it is financially a hard time for everyone right now, but if you can spare anything then I would be forever grateful for your support! If you see out running in Honiton, then please give me a wave or a cheer because I’ll be needing all the help I can get!!!
