Story
This year, I’ve decided to take on a massive challenge: the Great North Run!!!
I’m not a natural runner. In fact, I’ve done very little training (and I already regret that), but I’m determined to give it everything I’ve got. Why? Because I want to prove to myself that I can do something that feels completely out of reach—and even more importantly, I’m doing it for a cause that truly matters.
I’m raising money for Pearey House Centre for Visually Impaired, a small but incredible charity that provides vital support, services, and a sense of community for people living with visual impairments. Their work changes lives, and I’d love to do something meaningful to help support it.
I’ve set myself a fundraising target of £250, and here’s the deal:
The more you donate, the less likely I am to back out of this terrifyingly long run (kidding... kind of). Your support will keep me motivated when the training gets tough (or when I finally start it…) and especially when I’m battling up that final hill on race day.
If you can spare anything at all—£1, £5, £10—it would mean the world to me and to those who rely on Pearey House. Every step I take will be powered by your support. And sweat. Lots and lots of sweat!
Thank you so much for cheering me on. Let’s do this
💪
