Story
Hi, I’m Rachel Sutton, my step-daughter, Daniella, 15 years old, was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in 2021.
Daniella is a determined up and coming racing driver; 2022 Total Karting Zero UK North Championship winner, and 2023 Junior Ginetta Scholarship finalist. Daniella has aspirations to compete in the Formula 4/GB4 championship for 2024, she aims to join the F1 Academy in the coming years, and to be the first female UK F1 driver.
It is integral in motorsport for all drivers to have peak fitness and stamina, and motorsport drives Daniella to do this also. She wanted to support the NRAS who have supported her with fantastic information about her illness and how to live her life to the full since her diagnosis. What better way to do this, than running around a race track to raise awareness and funds for the NRAS and JIA.
Together with her Dad, she will run 5k and I will be running 10k. We are looking forward to lapping the race circuit that one day she aspires to drive round at great speed! Who will get fastest lap?….Daniella, Daniel or myself?
Please support Team Sutton! 🏁🏆☺️
