We are all partaking in the Manchester 10km Charity run on May 26th!

As an Occupational Therapist working in Crisis Care, I have witnessed first-hand that the inevitable passage through life can often challenge us at any age. This may involve different and difficult obstacles that leave us necessitating the lifesaving help and support from Doctors, Pharmacists, AHP's, Nurses, and HCAs working within Manchester Foundation Trust.

We have chosen to raise money for the incredible Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. The hospital sees well over 200,000 children and young people each year and supports research in 25 sub-specialities and is internationally recognised as a leader in in five key areas: childhood cancer, child & adolescent mental health, growth disorders and endocrinology, inherited metabolic disease and nephrology.

We hope that any small contribution you can donate can help toward purchasing state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment, sensory rooms, new facilities and vital research into the prevention and cure of childhood illness all in a creative, child friendly environment.
