We lost Rachel very suddenly and unexpectedly from pulmonary emboli as a result of a thrombosis. It remains a major cause of death in the UK yet many people have little or no understanding about the causes and effects of thrombosis, and how it can be prevented.

Nothing will bring our darling Rachel back, but we’d love to be able to help raise awareness, develop understanding or support other families dealing with the consequences of this in the future.
