It's my 50th birthday this year, and while it all still seems a bit surreal, here we are...!

Most years, I stay fairly lo-key. Most years, I ask for little or nothing at all. This is not most years.

This year, I'm asking for something a little different - no cards, no presents, just support for a cause that means the world to me.

As some of you will know, I recently started sitting on the board of trustees for The Moving On Project, a charity providing vital 1-to-1 counselling for children and young adults aged 11-25, helping improve their mental and emotional well-being. With waitlists for mental health services growing longer, charities like this step in, changing lives through giving support when it is needed the most.

But we can't do it alone. We aren't a business, we rely on fundraising to keep offering this critical support. Every donation helps young people who desperately need someone to listen, understand and help them move forward.
