Story
Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?
My name is Rado, I am 47 years old and I come from a family where cancer is prevalent. Both of my parents were diagnosed with this terrible disease. Unfortunately, my beloved mother died two years ago after a heroic fight against breast cancer. After defeating colon and liver cancer, my father now finds out that it has metastasized to his prostate. Personally, I am at a genetic risk of developing cancer (thanks to preventive measures, I have already had a cancer polyp removed from my colon) and I am covered by a cancer prevention program.
I am here because I want to show support to all people and their families affected by cancer. I'm taking on the Walk 60 Miles in November Challenge because I want to change this.
Together, we can create a world where no family has to suffer the impact of the disease. Please support me by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research, which funds breakthrough science to make this mission a reality. Thank you!
