We are climbing Mount Snowdon on 1st October 2023 to raise money for Neuroendocrine Cancer UK in loving memory of our incredible Phopo Azi, who tragically lost her battle to cancer at the age of 39.

Phopo Azi held a special place in our hearts. She was a nurturing and caring figure who played the roles of a mother, elder sister, aunty and best friend to us. Phopo Azi's presence in our lives was a source of immense joy and inspiration. She truly was there for us every step of the way.

She possessed a remarkable upbeat spirit, radiating love, kindness, and strength even in the face of adversity. Her unwavering determination to fight against cancer and her ability to maintain a positive outlook throughout her battle touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

To honor Phopo Azi's memory and legacy, we have established this page to raise awareness about cancer, support individuals and families affected by the disease and contribute to advancements in cancer research. During her time at Goldex Essex, Phopo Azi worked tirelessly with other charities, initiating charity sponsorship so it is only right to continue her legacy.

Phopo Azi's memory serves as a constant reminder of the preciousness of life and the importance of supporting one another through difficult times. By contributing to our charity, you not only honour her legacy but also become a part of the larger effort to combat cancer and provide solace to those facing similar challenges. Together, we can ensure that Phopo Azi's positivity continues to shine brightly, touching the lives of others, and making a lasting impact on the fight against cancer. The plan is to use this climb as a base to more challenges over the course of the year. Next we are scoping the 3 peaks challenge where we will climb 3 of the UK’s highest mountains… all in 24 hours!
