Team RAF - 24 Hour Distance Skateboarding Event

Team RAF - UK Ultraskate - 24 Hour Distance Skateboarding Event · 13 July 2024
A team of four people from Royal Air Force Skateboarding have signed up for the UK Ultraskate 2024 to raise money for TRAIN, a youth work charity that provides essential services to young people in Didcot and Wallingford.
Today’s young people are having to overcome unprecedented challenges, such as the lasting impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, widening inequality, and another surge in the cost of living crisis.
TRAIN is a local charity that supports young people by providing vital services such as youth clubs, mentoring programmes, and holiday trips. These activities enable young people to improve self-esteem, build healthy relationships and reach their full potential by providing access to a safe space, professional support and pro-social engagement.
A donation of £10 could provide food and drinks for an after school drop-in support group.
A donation of £48 could provide a healthy relationships group session for eight young people.
And a donation of £112 could provide one young person with six weeks of targeted one-to-one support.
Please give generously and make a real difference to a young person’s life.
Follow the charity on social media to learn more about how it supports young people!

They have been preparing for the event months in advance, working out in the gym and practising their long-distance skateboarding skills in local skate parks!
