Story
Raggy’s Ramblers are a legendary group of ex-rugby and football lads who may be past their sporting prime, but certainly haven’t lost their grit. With knees held together by replacements and hips that have seen better days, they’ve swapped the pitch for long-distance treks and icy sea dips—all in the name of charity.
This December, they’re lacing up once again to support Llys Nini Animal Rescue Centre.
On 20th December, the Ramblers will take on a 13-mile walk from Loughor Rugby Club to the Portobello in Burry Port, raising vital funds for the animals who need it most.
And they’re not stopping there. On 28th December, the lads will brave a freezing cold sea dip at Caswell—because nothing says commitment like diving into the Welsh winter waters for a good cause.
Powered by camaraderie, stubbornness, and a shared passion for helping animals, Raggy’s Ramblers continue to prove that even when the sporting days are long behind them, the heart for charity is stronger than ever.
Support their journey. Cheer them on. And help them make a lasting difference for Llys Nini.
