Story
This October, I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London to raise money in memory of my beloved mum, Renuka.
I’ve always been active and passionate about fitness, but this year I started running with a new purpose — to take on a challenge that means something deeply personal to me.
My mum was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma (brain tumour) in May 2024 and was taken from us far too soon in October 2025. She touched the hearts of so many with her warmth, kindness, generosity, and loving spirit. Her loss is felt deeply by everyone who knew and loved her.
By taking on this challenge, I hope to honour her memory while helping others facing this devastating illness. The Brain Tumour Charity funds vital research and supports those affected, working to improve lives and find better treatments.
If you’re able to donate, any contribution - big or small - would mean so much.
Thank you!
