Story
Help me raise £1,000 for Global Greengrants Fund UK and I’ll do the hard part: run 42.2 km.
On 24 October, I’ll be running the Battersea Park Marathon, my second marathon ever.
I’ve worked hard to get myself to a point where I know I can complete it. Now I want those miles to count for something bigger than a finish time.
Protecting our environment has been important to me from a young age; it’s a passion that even led me to study Biological Sciences at UCL.
Global Greengrants Fund UK supports local activists and communities around the world fighting to protect their ecosystems, natural resources and the places they call home.
My commitment: 42.2 km.
Our goal: £1,000.
I’ll put in the training, the early mornings and the miles. I’m asking you to be part of it by donating. Every contribution gets us closer.
And I want to bring you along for the journey. I’ll be sharing my training progress, the good runs and probably some painful ones too.
Let’s get to that £1,000 together.
Stay tuned.
