Every year, the London Otters host a regatta called Rainbow Races, to coincide with Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign, advocating for the elimination of homophobia in sport.

We invite rowers from all over the UK to race 500m down the Royal Docks in support of a local LGBTQ+ charity. In 2026, our 9th annual Rainbow Races, we will be donating the proceeds to Microrainbow, who provide safe housing, integration and social inclusion support for LGBTQIA+ refugees and asylum seekers.
