The Rainbow Foundation is an active ageing charity that delivers outstanding services to improve the health and wellbeing of our local communities. We aim to help older people to regain their sense of worth, and to provide access to support, services and facilities that empower people of all ages to retain as much independence as possible. Services include Day Opportunities, Home Care & Support, Rainbow Meals, Community Outreach, Social Prescribing, Community Transport and Volunteering opportunities.

The Rainbow Runners are a group of 10 members of our Rainbow Family and includes staff, clients and supporters. Although they are all at varying levels of fitness and experience, all are embracing active ageing and are looking forward to challenging themselves while hopefully benefitting our charity along the way.

By participating in the Wrexham 10k on Sunday 21st April 2024, they will be raising awareness and vital funds. This sporting event gives us an opportunity to come together as a community and make a difference.
