Anti-racism is a passionate topic of mine that i’m actively aiming to educate people on in a way I can get through to them. I wasn’t going to fundraise for this event but once discovering Darcy Bournes work on inclusivity in grassroots sports including hockey, a sport I’ve played for may years, and am actively involved in currently at uni, this felt like the right way to capture some people’s attention. Hockey culture is definitely far far from being fully inclusive and many steps behind a lot of sports but the work this charity do is refreshing and gives me hope for the future!

If you can donate I know they will be beyond grateful but if not I ask you just read a little or watch something that might open your eyes just that little bit more.
