Story
This year, we are taking part in the Mind Mental Elf Run in loving memory of our dear colleague and friend, Amy Smith, who we sadly lost back in June.
Amy had a beautiful soul, a fierce sense of justice, and a unwavering belief in supporting and standing up for others. Whether it was offering a listening ear or speaking out when it mattered most. She lit up every room she walked into, and her presence is deeply missed everyday.
Amy was a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, so it feels incredibly fitting to run in her name, not only to honour her memory, but to carry forward values she lived by. The Mind Mental Elf Run gives us the opportunity to raise vital funds for Mind, a charity that supports those who are struggling with their mental health.
Every step we run is for Amy, and for everyone who needs to know they're not alone.
All funds raised during Mental Elf will stay here in Birmingham to help support the vital services to support people with their mental health. Services such as their Central Wellbeing Hub at The Bullring & Grand Central.
