Story

The Story so Far..

You're the first person I could think to call, I don't know what to do man. She's gone, I have no one. Why am I here, no one would miss me like I miss her."

This was the phone call I received some years ago now and it remains with me still. My good friend calling me the moment he had lost someone incredibly important to him, he called me, unsure of whether he should still be here.

Mental Health is an important topic, like the monster in the corner we like to forget about, until it rears its ugly head at us. Let's shine a little light on it, let's run with those worries, fears, anxious moments and grief stricken thoughts.

I'm going to be running 5km with a bag on my back. To symbolise the feeling of carrying negative thoughts I will be running with my bag filled with stones (totalling 20kg) and to help ease some of the pain from my friends and family (in particular the men) I will be getting them to write a small note on each stone (a worry that they have), with which i will carry it on this run EVERY DAY IN NOVEMBER.

So please, donate if you can. Help a man in need.
