Story
I’m proud to be running this December alongside colleagues from across East London NHS Foundation Trust to raise funds for the incredible ELFT Charity. As ELFT staff, I’ve seen how this charity transforms lives — reducing isolation, improving digital access, and supporting personal growth for both staff and service users.
The charity champions innovative projects that make a real difference in our local communities, and also supports inpatient mental health rehabilitation. This includes helping individuals develop skills for independent living, build social networks, and increase their employment prospects — all vital steps toward recovery and empowerment.
💬 A bit about me: My running journey has been a bit start-stop (with a few too many sweets and chocolates along the way!), but I’m excited to lace up again and hopefully beat my last half marathon time. Running with colleagues makes it even more special — and we’d love your support on the day!
🎯 My fundraising goal is £375.00, and every penny will go toward improving the experience of both staff and people who use our services. So if you see me around, get ready to empty your pockets 😄 — it’s all for a brilliant cause that helps the NHS go further.
Thank you for your support!
