Story
Thank you for visiting this fundraising page.
I am Rajan Budha Magar, a proud member of the 247 Gurkha Signal Squadron within the 16th Signal Regiment, currently deployed on operational duties outside the United Kingdom. Alongside with Gaurav Shrestha and dedicated team of deployed service personnel from 247 GSS, we are undertaking an important personal challenge to support the QGS Trust.
Our event, titled "247 ENDURANCE RIDE," is a collective effort to cover an extraordinary distance through cycling, rowing, and skiing. Specifically, we aim to complete 247 km of Running, 247 km of Cycling, and 247 km of Rowing. This demanding challenge will take place from 09th April to 15th April 2026.
ABOUT THE QG SIGNALS TRUST: The QG SIGNALS Trust is a vital organisation that works tirelessly to enhance the efficiency of the regiment, preserve its rich tradition and history, and provide welfare support to serving and retired members of Queen's Gurkha Signals. The trust operates across various locations including Brunei, Hong Kong, and Nepal.
OUR AIM: Our primary goal is to raise £500 by 16th April 2026 through engaging in these endurance activities at our current deployed location. Every donation, no matter how big or small, plays a crucial role in helping us achieve this target.
Your support means the world to us. It not only motivates our team but also plays a vital role in upholding the esteemed Gurkha legacy. We sincerely appreciate any contribution you can make toward our cause. Thank you for your generosity—it truly makes a difference.
