Story
Welcome to my fundraising page for Team Esperanza!
Last year, I tore my ACL playing soccer. The recovery post surgery was slow, to say the least. I have 2 active boys and in my quest to keep up with them, I decided to commit a long time dream of running Chicago marathon [26.2 miles]. My wife works for Esperanza Health Centers. Her commitment to making health care accessible, in which health isn't determined by race, gender, ability status, or zip code; is a cause I am raising money for.
Ezperanza, a spanish word for 'Hope', provides women's health, pediatrics, behavioral health services and wellness programs, to more than 50,000 patients every year. Esperanza today is recognized as a National Quality Leader [top 3%] by the Health Resources and Service Administration.
Please join me in supporting this amazing organization today!
