I pray you are in the best of health and imaan i’A.

As many of you will be aware, my beloved mother, Jahanara Begum passed away from a short battle with cancer last year in April. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. (Verily, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return).

She was the heart and soul of our family. Her immense kindness and down to earth nature left a lasting touch on all those she left behind.

To honour her memory, we as a family hope to establish a form of sadaqah jariyah on her behalf. We aim to put up as many mega wells and tube wells as possible in her name.

Ramadan is the month of blessings, mercy and immense rewards. Giving sadaqah in Ramadan multiplies your reward. The Prophet (SAW) said: “The best charity is that given in Ramadan” (Tirmidhi). Sadaqah helps purify our wealth, protects us from calamities and brings barakah in our lives.

We humbly ask you to remember our mum in your sincere duas. May Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannatul Firdous. Ameen.
