Ralf's fundraiser for King's Children's Transplant Team

Daisy Enticott is raising money for King's College Hospital Charity

British Transplant Games · 6 August 2026

Welcome to Team King's where our amazing supporters are taking part in the British Transplant Games to support the King's Transplant community.

Story

Hi! We are Daisy, Doug, Ralf & Dora Linssen

Though you wouldn't know it to look at him now, our first child Ralf was born with a rare genetic liver disease called PFIC Type 2 and spent the first three years of his life very unwell. At just three and a half years old, he underwent a life-saving liver transplant thanks to the incredible gift from an anonymous donor. Throughout this difficult journey, Ralfie (and all of us!) received outstanding care, support, and compassion from the team at King’s College Hospital.

Today, Ralf is doing really well! He is attending school, enjoying life and being a big brother to Dora, and his new liver is doing brilliantly. Though post-transplant life isn't always easy, we are all aware of how lucky we are to have come this far. We think that it's time to give something back to the community and hospital that helped save his life and we are therefore raising money to support King’s College Hospital Charity.

This August, we hope to attend the British Transplant Games in Sheffield for the very first time. Ralf is excited to take part in fun activities including a running race, obstacle course, and ball throw, while also meeting other children who have experienced transplants themselves. The event is a celebration of life, resilience, organ donation, and the amazing things transplant recipients can achieve. We can't wait to go!

By supporting Ralf, you are supporting the King's Children's Transplant Team and the King's College Hospital Charity and helping raise awareness of organ donation, celebrating the gift of life, and giving back to the hospital team who made his future possible. Thank you so much - we appreciate it!
