Story
As many of you know, my time at Haven House is coming to an end, and it’s hard to put into words just how much this incredible place means to me. Leaving is bittersweet—I’ve seen first-hand the love, care, and support that Haven House gives to seriously ill children and their families, and I want to do everything I can to ensure that continues.
I will always have amazing memories of watching our children playing in the sunshine with our brilliant staff, living life to the full and making amazing memories. That is what Haven House is about and it's a privilege to have been a small part of it. Our recent video of Charlie and Dylan - https://www.havenhouse.org.uk/through-their-eyes-meet-charlie-and-dylan really captures this life-changing work.
So, before I go, I’m taking on a huge personal challenge: running the Hackney Half in May. It’s further than I’ve ever run before (by a long way!), but every step will be worth it to help raise vital funds for this amazing charity.
Last year, I threw myself into an epic mud run—this time, it’s pounding the pavements. I’ll be running alongside some of our brilliant fundraising team, but what will really keep me going is knowing that every pound raised helps give families the care and support they so desperately need.
If you can spare anything at all, I’d be so grateful for your support. Haven House is truly life-changing, and together, we can make sure it continues to be there for every child who needs it.
Thank you sincerely for your support.
