Every year I try to do something on a bicycle to benefit Action Medical Research - an amazing charity which has been funding medical breakthroughs for over 70 years.

2025 is no different: Last year I was introduced to a great bunch of mid-life riders who have been supporting Action for over 20 years. I will be joining this bunch of Badgers again this year over 4 days in France in the Rhone-Alps around Lake Annecy.

Action has helped to beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, helping to save thousands of children’s lives and change many more.

We'll be riding a total of 446km over the 4 days with a combined climbing total of 7,847m.

Today Action continues to tackle the challenges diseases and disability present by funding high quality research across the UK to save and change children’s lives.

We'll be in France from 4th to 8th June. Please use this excuse to give generously to an outstanding charity.
