Story
Thanks for visiting our page. We’re raising money for Diabetes UK, and we would be so grateful for your support. Diabetes UK is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by diabetes, funding vital research, and ensuring communities have access to support, education, and better care.
Sadly, diabetes continues to affect millions of people across the UK, particularly within the Asian community, and many families face its challenges every single day. Being Asian ourselves, this cause is especially close to our hearts, as we see how common this condition is within our community and the impact it has on so many families.
Over the years, our family has faced a challenging journey. Our dad has Type 2 diabetes and manages his condition daily with insulin and tablets, and our grandparents also lived with diabetes. We have witnessed firsthand the physical, emotional, and mental toll that diabetes can take on individuals and their loved ones. Diabetes UK has played an important role in supporting families like ours.
Their work has made a real difference, and now it’s our turn to give back. To support this incredible organisation, we are taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026. This will be Raman’s first time running the LLHM, and Isha's second time taking on this challenge. This race is more than a personal milestone, it's a tribute to our family and everyone affected by diabetes.
Every step we take, every mile we run, is dedicated to raising awareness and supporting the fight against a condition that has touched our family and our community so deeply. Please join us in supporting Diabetes UK by making a donation. Your generosity, no matter the amount, will help fund vital research, support families across the country, and move us one step closer to a future where diabetes can be better prevented, treated, and understood.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us and supporting a cause that means so much to our family 💙
