Story

**Guess the number of steps I take throughout the walk, donate to one of the charities, write your guess and name in comments, then I'll contact 3 closest guesses in June for prizes from my sponsors**

Background

Very close family and friends have been affected by Skin Cancer and other skin diseases recently so I decided to walk to raise awareness and money for this amazing charity. BRITISH SKIN FOUNDATION.

On 1st May 2023, I will be undertaking a 36 day long distance walk from Lowestoft to Lands End, following a new Inland route. It's all mapped out now, it's 572 miles crossing east to west.

A bit about BSF:

💙 60% of the UK population suffer with skin disease

💙 35% of people with a skin condition say it negatively impacts their mental health

💙 1 in 5 children suffer with eczema

💙 109 cases of skin cancer are reported each day - one of the fastest rising cancers in the UK

💙 7 people die from skin cancer per day

💙 Yet 80% of skin cancer cases are preventable through education and sun awareness

I'll be raising money for BBC Children in Need 2023 as well... the reach of Children in Need helps so many other charities...

You can find out more, see the route on the walk's website: https://www.ramblingtales.com/
