As we approach the Childress Klein & Dowd YMCAs - Day of Giving, we are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children in our community.

The YMCA's youth development programs have the power to change the trajectory of a child’s life, offering over $2 million in financial scholarships for programs like preschool, afterschool, and summer camp. Additionally, more than 3,000 children will benefit from literacy instruction through programs like Y Readers, provided at no charge to participants. Over 1,500 children will also receive affordable swimming lessons. These initiatives are vital for our community's well-being. However, to continue serving and expanding these essential services, we need your support.
