As a Palestinian I am very aware of the limited resources and opportunities Palestinian youth has access to in Israel due to the ever growing discrimination and poverty they face , as well as in the occupied territories due to Israel's crippling and illegal occupation.

The Galilee foundation empowers underprivileged Palestinian youth by giving them the tools & skills needed to become change-makers. They achieve this this through their Scholarship Programme that provides educational, cultural & capacity development. Also partnering with local organisations that work in education & culture to increase their impact & sustainability in order to empower Palestinian youth.

This is why I will be doing a Sprint Triathlon in Dorney Lake on 22 September and the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 13 October to raise as many funds as possible for this amazing charity. All donations no matter how small are deeply appreciated
