Hi all,

I’m fundraising for the Gaza Sunbirds, a para-cycling team and humanitarian initiative originating in Gaza, who have realigned their mission to focus on delivering emergency food parcels and aid to families caught up in the ongoing horrific war.

They remain dedicated to their original mission of long-term cycling development for all Palestinians and to empower athletes with disabilities—many of whom are amputees—to compete on the global stage.

Beyond sports, they hope to focus on improving access to rehabilitation and sports facilities in conflict-affected areas, providing equipment, and advocating for disability inclusion worldwide.

I will run the ABP Newport Half Marathon on 13th April 2025 as fast as I can in support of the Palestinian people and this brave and kind organisation. All donations will go straight to Palestinian people in need and will be greatly appreciated.

This cause is close to my heart as my girlfriend Safia is half Palestinian and we have a 20 month old baby - Zaynu Suley. The war and devastation in Palestine has caused far too much pain and suffering for far too long.
