Raising funds for my son`s cochlear implant · 30 March 2027

We are a voluntary support group belonging to a scheme that provides a service to support hearing impaired people with an NHS hearing aid. WHAT DO WE DO? The tasks of the volunteer will include: - 1. Make a simple check to ascertain that the hearing aid is functioning. 2. Check the batteries are functioning replacing where necessary, instructing the clients at the same time. 3. Check that clients are familiar with the controls of their hearing aid. 4. Check that the clients know how to fit their earmould, giving instructions where necessary. 5. Clean and retube the earmould where necessary.

Story

Hello everyone. My name is Rashid Ali, and I am reaching out to you with a broken and heavy heart as a helpless father. My innocent son is only 3 years old, an age when children usually fill the house with their sweet chatter and laughter. But my little angel is suffering from severe hearing loss, trapped in a silent and difficult world where he cannot even hear my voice.

Watching him struggle in this harsh and cruel world breaks my soul every single day. As a father, I stay awake day and night, drowning in constant worry about his future, but the cost of his cochlear implant and medical treatment is far beyond what I can ever afford on my own. I desperately need your financial support to give him the gift of hearing before it is too late. If you help my child, I will pray for you from the depths of my heart for as long as I live. Please, please help my son hear the world and give him a chance at a normal life. Thank you and God bless you."`
