Story

We are taking part in St John's Hospice's 50-50-500 Charity Challenge!

St Johns Hospice is a local charity which provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions. Their services cover a population area of 250,000 people in North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire where they have been caring for the community every minute of every day since 1986.

From the 1st of May St John’s Hospice have given 50 businesses and groups, 50 days to raise a minimum of £500. This challenge is designed to not only raise vital funds for St Johns Hospice but to provide a great opportunity for team building, Corporate Social Responsibility and to stand out from the crowd when recruiting! Service users will never be charged for the services St John’s provides; however, this does not mean that the services are free. They have to raise around £10,000 a day to make sure that they can continue caring for our community.

Here at Team Ratcliffe & Bibby we are taking on the Triple Wainwright Challenge hosted by SJH and Adventure Trails to raise those vital funds. On Saturday 17th of June we will be competing with other teams and hiking up 3 mountain peaks, all of which are on Alfred Wainwrights famous list. We will have to navigate ourselves round the route different checkpoints all whilst trying to avoid time penalties. Please support us in our fundraising adventure by donating or sharing our page, thank you
