Story

Now then guys, it's Christmas!

As the holiday spirit twinkles in the air, renowned YouTube sensation Danny Malin, famed for his Rate My Takeaway channel with over 136 million views, has once again joined forces with multi-platinum music producer Toddla T from Sheffield to bring forth a merry new Christmas anthem titled "Santa's from up North."

This Yorkshire-inspired tune, a celebration of all things festive and the beloved Yorkshire Pudding, aims not only to bring joy but also to make a significant impact by supporting a noble cause. All proceeds generated from the song's sales and any additional donations received through JustGiving will be directly channelled to benefit the Leeds Charity Hospitals.

Danny Malin, the face behind Rate My Takeaway and a proud Yorkshireman currently residing between Wakefield and Leeds, expressed his excitement for this charitable endeavor, stating,

There’s nowt folk love more than a good Yorkshire Pudding, especially on their Christmas dinner. I think all families need some Christmas cheer in these winter months. So what better way than to release a classic belter which raises money for children’s charities.

Collaborating for the third consecutive year, Toddla T, renowned for his music production prowess and international collaborations from his London studio, expressed enthusiasm for the project.

"It’s great to work with my mate Danny again, and this year’s tune promises to be as soft, fluffy, and enjoyable as the Yorkshire Puddings themselves,

said Toddla.

While the song aims to spread merriment during the festive season, the creators remain cognizant of the difficulties faced by many during this time.

As a gesture of goodwill, both Danny and Toddla T have committed to donating the proceeds to the Leeds Charity Hospitals, an organization close to their hearts.

Moreover, Danny Malin will be participating in various festive events to bolster the charitable cause, including a daring Santa Abseil and a special choir performance of "Santa's from up North." These events are designed not only to entertain but also to encourage community engagement and support for the Leeds Charity Hospitals.

With the holiday season upon us, the duo hopes to garner widespread support for their charitable initiative. The catchy beats and festive spirit embedded within "Santa's from up North" aim to unite listeners and supporters alike in contributing to a cause that strives to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Will this Yorkshire-inspired anthem be the Christmas Number 1? The creators remain hopeful that the infectious cheer and charitable intent behind "Santa's from up North" will capture hearts and contribute generously to the essential work carried out by Leeds Charity Hospitals.
