Story
As part of Rathbones Foundation, four members of the Cambridge team are lacing up their trainers to run the Cambridge half marathon in support of Tom’s Trust. Harry Lygoe, Chris Holton, Lee Pearce and Mark Winchester have been putting in the miles through the dark mornings and very wet, cold days to try and get in some sort of shape for the big day. Please dig deep to help them hit their target in support of this brilliant charity and the work they do.
Approximately 10 children and young people aged 0-19 are diagnosed with a brain tumour each week in the UK. Our vision is that all children with brain tumours, and their families, will have access to psychological support – either through our gold standard in-hospital support services or our online resources.
NHS Trusts invest in medical treatment to help a child with a brain tumour survive. Tom’s Trust clinical psychologists are there to ensure those survivors and their families thrive.
