As a frontline project set up in response to the pandemic, we have felt the impact of so many different crises. We expect this winter will be a perfect storm beyond all the others.

For those being moved into empty properties, fleeing DV, living homeless, seeking asylum, working but unable to 'live, or subsisting on a state pension, their capacity to fund even the most basic of essentials is effectively zero. A problem amplified this year by the increasing cost of living and the lack of state support for energy payments

We know we can be there for them (it's what we have been doing for the last 3 years). But our financial capacity to do so is dwindling. Our new charity status is opening up grant funding opportunities...but it will take time for them to come through. We are therefore appealing to our community (and those beyond) to help us not only survive, but to thrive
