RAVENSPURGH GOTH FESTIVAL 4: UNNECESSARY EVILS

It's time to take another deep dive into history, as our online arts festival returns in August!

Taking place virtually due to the inconvenient fact that it's host city has been under the North Sea for the last 500 years, Ravenspurgh Goth Festival 4: Unnecessary Evils will see an even more varied selection of live acts & spoken word performances, all in aid of the RNLI.

It will take place on YouTube on Fri 28th & Saturday 29th August.

This year's line-up includes:

- a live acoustic performance by the one & only Caroline Blind!

- a reading by the living legend that is Rosie Garland!

- live sessions by Blind Cat, Trianglecuts, and Jan Doyle Band!

- a DJ set by Orpheus!

- a presentation on the sunken east coast town of Ravenser Odd from Emily Robinson (University of Sussex) and Kathryn Maude (National Archives)!

- and an exclusive performance by RGF house bard Byronic Sex & Exile!

The event is free to watch on Youtube, but this fundraiser during the event will be raising money for the RNLI.

About the RNLI:

Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe.

RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.

Thank you.
