I cannot thank my amazing colleagues enough and the background behind the fundraising is as follows. In 2023 we welcomed our bundle of joy who was post nataly diagnosed with down syndrome. Post the diagnosis she was kept in hospital for 80 days which Included respiratory support and a heart op for her cardiac failure

As she was fighting, we were also understanding more about the diagnosis and joining many groups and talking to others who have children who also have the extra special chromosome . The dsa have amazing support groups along with schemes such as fit to work which provided us with tools, support and motivation to do the best by Nandi

So far she has been home awaiting another heart op. She has battled strongly and so far and I've taken motivation to set myself a goal to enter and complete 6 half marathons in 2024.

These are Cambridge half, Hackney half, London landmarks, London big half and Great North run and Royal parks along with a trail run the lake district with some colleagues.

We have been blessed to have received so much positivity from both the charity, family, friends and colleagues. I wanted to thank all my colleagues on this fundraising journey.
