Ray's fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Ray Hazelton is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Team: MND Masonic Milers

In memory of Pam Bedford

Cycling

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

I am cycling to raise money for the MND Association in memory of Pam Bedford, a beautiful soul who was sadly taken far too early by this very cruellest of diseases. Sponsor me on here and your money will change the lives of people affected by motor neurone disease.

The challenge is to complete the 73 mile route of the 'Canterbury Bike Ride' on 19th July. 35% longer than the London to Brighton ride, I have never cycled that far in a single day before. At 66 that would be challenge enough but having first booked the ride last December, health issues have kept me off the bike until 3 weeks ago. Five months without regular exercise means I have a mountain to climb to get fit enough to stand any chance of finishing the ride. So start I will and I shall be doing my hardest to cross the finishing line along with friends James Colton & Warren Morgan.

God willing, MND will never touch you, your family or friends but, if it should, the MND Association will be there with very practical help. Please donate to make this ever the case.

Every penny you donate matters.
