Story

All 100 years and 4 weeks of Ray's life were full of adventures! He travelled the world with the Royal Navy, and trained as a GPO engineer before working for British Telecomms. In the 1950s, Ray organised social dances at Cardiff City Hall, later became Treasurer of the League of Friends at the University Hospital of Wales organising Summer Fetes on Heath Park, and then one of the founder members and Chair of the Heath Residents' Association. He also supported Epilepsy Research UK for many years. Ray's family lovingly remembers his energy, his keen sense of humour and his positive outlook on life, 'The best is yet to come'! He is sorely missed by all who knew and loved him but his legacy remains in the communities he served.
