Great Manchester Run 10k 2024 · 26 May 2024 ·

On 26th May 2024 a team of runners made up of staff at Greenhalghs Bakery and supporters of Bury Hospice will take on the challenge of running the Great Manchester Run

Story

I am taking on the challenge of running the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run in May (again!!). This is particularly this year in memory of my co-Tough Mudder, Kristian Thew (pictured above) who tragically lost his battle against pancreatic cancer in April 2023 at the tender age of 31 (I'm the good looking one in the picture - not!!). He spent the last 6 weeks of his life being cared for by the nursing staff at Bury Hospice.

Please show your support by donating to support the work of the Hospice.

Bury Hospice has an important impact on so many lives and the care they give makes such a difference to people at a very difficult time.

All donations are important, whether large or small. Please give what you can and together we can help ensure the special care the hospice provides can continue long into the future.

Thank you!
