Quick update .. Harvey will now be joining me on the hike so all we're all good to go now and the two of us will be going up there , please read the story below :)

Just over 5 years ago my boys lost their mother to Liver Cancer. It was a heartbreaking and devastating time for all my boys and the younger two came to live with me from Essex where they had lived with their mum . The youngest at the time was 10 years old and the reality of it all even though he was heartbroken and understood fully what had happened didn't really sink in in terms of grieving.

It was aged thirteen that his grief really set in , he was going off the rails at school he was going within himself at home and sinking lower and lower he was finding trouble in any way he could .Things were getting scarily desperate

After numerous discussions with school they introduced us to Child Bereavement uk and Harvey started counselling sessions with Pia at the Widnes branch .. Those sessions with Pia over a period of 8 months really turned him around and above where i said it was scarily desperate , i mean these sessions quite possibly saved his life and thats not a dramatic exaggeration It's a fact

Everything Changed , He became a star pupil in year 9 he was mapping out career options hitting top marks and getting rave reviews and good behaviour commendations on almost a daily basis. He is now in year 10 and the fabulous reports from school keep coming, his behaviour out of school is excellent too , yeah he can have a teen wobble like they all do but Those sessions with Pia at Child bereavement uk were and absolute godsend and i for one will forever be grateful to the organisation and Pia and thats why why i'm doing this Snowdon walk to raise money for an incredible organisation ..

Ther's a chance that the boys will possibly join me on the hike and i hope they do ..

I will be taking the Llanberis path to the summit on Friday the 26th May Please help me reach this target .

This will be the first of possibly three fundraisers for three different causes
