My Mum Ray wanted to complete her 2nd London Marathon (3rd if you include the remote Covid one) and I said what the hell, I’ll do it with you….So here I am on my debut, slightly regretting it, but determined to complete the challenge, enjoy it with my Mum alongside me and make everyone proud. Ray has been fighting everyday with Lupus for the past 20 years much to our unknowing- always with a smile on her face, not complaining and putting the whole family before her. She is such an inspiration and if I can have just half of her strength and positivity on the day then I know I’ll be just fine doing this run!

So please donate what you can in these trying times to help everyone who is battling this disease- many of which you wouldn’t even realise were suffering.
