Being diagnosed with a terminal illness can turn your world upside down. We're here to help people make the most of the time they have left, and provide expert care so that they can die with dignity. Your donation today will help us to be here for people in East London when they need us.

Story

In memory of Ray Gipson a true East End Gentleman and a man of the people.

Ray’s family have asked for donations in place of flowers.

The funeral will take place on Jan 3rd leaving Usher Rd Bow at 1.30 going to The City of London cemetery.

The wake will be at Poplar Rowing Club on The Isle of Dogs at 4.00, all are welcome to attend.

St Joseph’s Hospice opened in Hackney in 1905, and since then has been caring for and supporting people affected by serious illness in eight London boroughs. We work to improve the quality of life of more than 2,100 patients with life-limiting conditions each year, helping them live life to the full, to the very last.
