Story
In April 2024, I laced up my running shoes for the first time, hoping to find a way to manage my own mental health after struggling with anxiety and depression since becoming a doctor. Now, less than a year later, I’m taking on the London Marathon as part of SheRuns, a brilliant running club for women from diverse ethnic backgrounds!
Doctors in Distress is a charity that provides vital support to healthcare workers struggling with their mental health. Without the help I received during my own difficult times, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Running has become my way of sustaining myself so I can continue being my best—for myself, my loved ones, and my patients.
Please support me in raising funds for this incredible charity, so those who dedicate their lives to caring for others can also receive the care they need. Every donation makes a difference. Thank you!
