Story

At the beginning of November, I lost my beautiful wife Bev to stage 4 gastric cancer. My world changed forever. She was my soulmate, my best friend, and the bravest, kindest person I’ve ever known.
To honour her strength and the love we shared, I’ve decided to trek for 6 days through the Sahara Desert starting on 19th February 2025. I’m raising money for Cransley Hospice, the incredible place that cared for my beautiful wife in her final days. Their kindness, compassion, and dignity meant everything to us. They supported Bev with comfort, respect, and genuine love when she needed it most, and they supported me and our family through the hardest moments of our lives.
Cransley didn’t just look after Bev’s medical needs — they cared for her as a person. They made her feel safe, listened to, and never alone. For that, I will always be grateful.
I’ll be covering all my own travel costs, so every single donation will go directly to Cransley and the amazing work they do.
Bev gave me a life full of love, laughter, and meaning. This is my way of carrying her with me and giving back to those who helped her so much.
For Bev ❤️
