Story
This September, John and his son Jordan are setting off on an extraordinary adventure: driving 2,700 miles from the UK to Monaco in a car worth no more than £1,000. It’s called the Rust Bucket Rally—but for them, it’s about far more than just the miles.
They’re doing it in memory of Oliver Shilton, a bright and brave young boy who sadly passed away in June 2024 after a courageous battle with Ewing sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Oliver’s strength, spirit, and smile continue to inspire everyone who knew him—and now, his legacy is driving change.
John and Jordan are raising funds for the Oliver Shilton Fund, a charity dedicated to supporting research, awareness and families affected by Ewing sarcoma. Every challenge they face, is a tribute to Oliver’s journey—and a step toward a future with better outcomes for children like him
