Back to Back Winners of the Modified Class 2025 & 2026

Team 57 - aka Team Probox - proving that big things can be done with a small car, a small amount of money, and good teamwork. 100% of the money raised through this page goes to Rhino Ark to support their incredible conservation work, meanwhile we maintain our vehicle, affectionately known as The Tick at our own cost.

In 15 years of competition, Team 57 has dedicated their blood, sweat and tears for this amazing cause and the protection of Kenya's ecosystems. While consistently placing in the top 10 out of 65 entrants, 2025 saw this small but mighty team take out the win for the Modified category and place an impressive 4th overall against the much bigger Super Modified class. We came back determined in 2026 and snagged first place in the Modified class again, and 8th overall.

But it's about more than just the podium position for us. It's about the cause. In 15 years of participating in the Rhino Charge, we have raised over 150,000 USD. Help us hit our fundraising target again for 2027.

The Rhino Charge is an offroad 4x4 event that raises funds for the Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust's ecological projects that support various community-based conservation initiatives. hino Ark raises money for the building of electric eco-fences around mountain ecosystems in Kenya, namely Aberdare National Park, Mt. Kenya and Mau Eburu . This provides an "ark" for wildlife such as rhino, leopard, elephant and mountain bongo but also safeguards vital upland watertable habitats for Kenya.
